Tennessee Williams Festival
Tennessee Williams/New Orleans Literary Festival is an annual event honoring Pulitzer Prize-winning American playwright Tennessee Williams. The festival also celebrates the rich cultural heritage of New Orleans, the setting for two of Williams’ major plays and several short stories. In addition to panels and plays over the festival’s five days, there are literary walking tours, writing contests and readings making this an enjoyable celebration of storytelling and New Orleans culture.
